45+ Claude Code Tips: From Basics to Advanced

This is a collection of more than 45 tips for getting more out of Claude Code, ranging from basics such as essential slash commands and a custom status line script to advanced techniques such as running Claude Code inside a container and using git worktrees for parallel branch work.

Tips cover working with context, such as keeping it fresh and condensed and proactively compacting it; workflow habits, such as completing a write-test cycle for autonomous tasks, using isolated environments for long-running risky tasks, and forking or half-cloning conversations; and using Claude Code as a writing assistant, a research tool, and a DevOps engineer. Other tips explain the difference between CLAUDE.md, skills, slash commands and plugins, and cover interactive PR reviews, voice input, and controlling Claude Code from a phone.

The repository also includes a dx plugin: a set of skills for everyday development workflows.
