A2A Java SDK

The A2A Java SDK is an official Java library for building and running agentic applications as Agent2Agent protocol servers and clients, with JSON-RPC, gRPC and REST transport support.

A2A Java SDK

The A2A Java SDK is a multi-module Maven library implementing the Agent2Agent (A2A) protocol for Java. It provides server support for running a Java agentic application as an A2A server, and client support for talking to any A2A-compliant agent, over JSON-RPC, gRPC and REST transports.

Community-contributed integrations wire the SDK into Quarkus, which holds the project's reference implementations for all three transports, and into Jakarta EE runtimes supporting the Web Profile. Extra modules add OpenTelemetry tracing, a JPA-backed task store, a Kafka-based replicated queue manager, and Vert.x and Android HTTP clients. It requires Java 17 or later and builds with Maven; gRPC classes are regenerated from a copy of the A2A protobuf specification kept in the spec-grpc module.
