A2A Python SDK

The official Python SDK for the Agent2Agent (A2A) protocol, for building and serving agentic applications that communicate over a standardized multi-agent interoperability protocol.

A2A Python SDK

The A2A Python SDK lets a developer run agentic applications as A2A servers and clients that follow the Agent2Agent protocol, a standard for interoperability between agents built on different frameworks. It supports the 1.0 protocol specification with a compatibility mode for 0.3, across JSON-RPC, HTTP+JSON/REST and gRPC transports.

It is built on asynchronous Python for performance and is extensible with optional integrations: HTTP servers via FastAPI or Starlette, gRPC, OpenTelemetry tracing, and SQL database backends including PostgreSQL, MySQL and SQLite.

It is installed with uv or pip, with extras for each optional integration.

  • local-coder

    github.com

Builds a local coding-agent team on top of Ollama and OpenCode by detecting the machine's hardware, recommending models for seven specialist roles, and testing whether each assigned model can actually use tools, edit a repository and pass verification.
