# a2abridge

A protocol bridge that wires separate AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and Cline into one open A2A 1.0 mesh so they can discover each other, share an inbox and send each other tasks across machines over mTLS.

a2abridge solves the isolation between multiple AI coding agents running on the same machine, such as Claude in an IDE, Claude in a terminal, Codex CLI, Cursor, Cline or Gemini CLI, which otherwise have no way to hand work to each other except manual copy-pasting. It wraps each agent as a standard Agent2Agent (A2A) 1.0 peer, using the specification's JSON-RPC and HTTP+JSON transport with SSE streaming through the official a2a-go SDK, with local discovery and no vendor lock-in.

Rather than inventing another closed wire format like existing Claude-only or enterprise-only bridges, it speaks the open Linux Foundation A2A standard, which by 2026 has more than 150 supporting organizations and native support in Google ADK, LangGraph, CrewAI, LlamaIndex Agents, Semantic Kernel and AutoGen, so any compliant agent, including third-party or future ones, can join the same mesh.

Built with Go, using the official a2a-go SDK. MIT licensed.
