AG2

An open-source programming framework for building AI agents and coordinating multiple agents to solve tasks together, formerly known as AutoGen.

AG2

AG2 aims to streamline the development and research of agentic AI, offering agents that can interact with each other, support for various large language models and tool use, autonomous and human-in-the-loop workflows, and multi-agent conversation patterns. As of AG2 v1.0, the protocol-driven framework is the top-level package, imported as ag2.

The original AutoGen-derived framework, the autogen.* namespace including ConversableAgent, AssistantAgent, UserProxyAgent and GroupChat/GroupChatManager, has moved to its own repository, AG2 Classic, and continues to be maintained and installable there; this repository no longer ships that import name or its classic agent classes.

It is written in Python, is maintained by a group of volunteers from several organizations, and is licensed under Apache-2.0.

    recurse.run

A serverless harness that lets a coding agent design, test, and deploy its own specialist sub-agents as tools, MCP servers, or bots, defined by a schema-validated manifest.

  • ProofForge

    shulgin.is-a.dev

An AI-agent pipeline that decomposes a mathematics problem, proves each piece, and formalizes the result in Lean 4 and Mathlib until the Lean kernel accepts it, with six of its proofs already merged into Google DeepMind's formal-conjectures repository.

  • local-coder

    github.com

Builds a local coding-agent team on top of Ollama and OpenCode by detecting the machine's hardware, recommending models for seven specialist roles, and testing whether each assigned model can actually use tools, edit a repository and pass verification.
