Agency Swarm

A Python framework, built on the OpenAI Agents SDK, for orchestrating multi-agent applications by modeling an organization's roles, such as CEO, developer and assistant, as communicating agents.

Agency Swarm

Agency Swarm is a framework for building multi-agent applications on top of the OpenAI Agents SDK, modeling automation around real organizational structures so it is intuitive for both agents and users. Distinct agent roles, such as CEO, developer or virtual assistant, are defined with their own instructions, tools and capabilities.

Agents communicate through a dedicated send_message tool, following explicit, directional communication flows defined on the agency, and tools are built as Pydantic models for automatic argument validation compatible with the SDK's function-tool format. Conversation history can be persisted across sessions through configurable load and save callbacks, and the framework supports OpenAI's own models directly, with Anthropic, Google, xAI, Azure OpenAI and OpenRouter available through LiteLLM.

    github.com

Builds a local coding-agent team on top of Ollama and OpenCode by detecting the machine's hardware, recommending models for seven specialist roles, and testing whether each assigned model can actually use tools, edit a repository and pass verification.
