Agent Plugins for AWS

A collection of plugins that equip AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex and Cursor with skills, MCP servers and hooks for architecting, deploying and operating AWS infrastructure.

Agent Plugins for AWS

Agent Plugins for AWS packages AWS expertise into plugins that a coding agent can invoke instead of having AWS guidance pasted into every prompt. Each plugin can bundle several kinds of resources: agent skills that encode step-by-step playbooks for tasks such as deployment, code review or architecture planning; MCP servers that connect the agent to live AWS documentation, pricing data and other resources at runtime; hooks that run automation or guardrails on developer actions; and reference documentation.

The project is currently supported by Claude Code, Codex and Cursor. AWS describes it as a predecessor to a newer Agent Toolkit for AWS, which adds IAM condition keys, CloudWatch and CloudTrail visibility, and evaluated skills, and says the most useful projects here will move into that toolkit over time; this repository continues to work and accept contributions.

  • Provenance gate

    github.com

A deterministic authorization gateway that sits between an AI agent and its tools, tracing where each parameter of a side-effect call came from, and blocking the call or asking a human when the source does not check out.

  • A markdown framework of system rules that restates Isaac Asimov's Four Laws of Robotics as a set of prioritized loss calculations for large-language-model agents to follow, published as a discovery file for agents and crawlers to read.

  • Vitruvius

    github.com

An engineering research agent that runs a discover, read, synthesize, verify and review loop over technical questions, reading sources directly rather than inferring from titles, and publishing its own scored verifier benchmark, weaknesses included.
