Agent Zero

An open agent framework that gives an AI agent a full Dockerized Linux desktop, a browser with DOM annotation, and live document editing, so it can use real GUI software and files rather than only chat.

Agent Zero

Agent Zero is an open agent framework for work that needs more than chat. It runs the agent inside a Dockerized Linux desktop with a real browser, terminal, files and desktop applications, so it can use GUI software directly.

A browser DOM annotation tool turns clicked page elements into inspect, change, lift or review instructions, and live document cowork lets a user edit Markdown, word processor, spreadsheet and presentation files together with the agent instead of losing work in chat. Projects keep files, instructions, secrets, memories, repositories and model choices isolated per project, and a host-machine bridge lets the agent work in real local repositories. Multiple agents can delegate research, coding, analysis or review tasks to focused subagents, and prompts, tools, plugins and settings are all inspectable and editable.

It runs wherever Docker runs, from a small VPS or Raspberry Pi to a local workstation or GPU server, and installs through a desktop launcher or a terminal-based installer for servers and remote machines.

  • local-coder

    github.com

Builds a local coding-agent team on top of Ollama and OpenCode by detecting the machine's hardware, recommending models for seven specialist roles, and testing whether each assigned model can actually use tools, edit a repository and pass verification.
