Agentfiles

An Obsidian plugin for browsing, creating and editing AI agent skills, commands, rules and agent configuration files across Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Windsurf and other coding tools.

Agentfiles

Agentfiles is an Obsidian community plugin that gives a single place to browse, search, create and edit skills, commands, rules and agents across 17 different coding tools, including Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Windsurf, Copilot and OpenCode, each read from and written to that tool's own configuration folder. Skills can be edited inline with a markdown preview, and new ones created through a stepped wizard that picks the tool, type and name.

An optional marketplace lets a user install skills from skills.sh directly, a conversations view browses and exports Claude Code session history into the vault, and an optional companion CLI tool adds a usage-analytics dashboard covering burn rate and context cost. It installs from the Obsidian community plugin directory or by copying three release files into the vault's plugins folder.

  • Provenance gate

    github.com

A deterministic authorization gateway that sits between an AI agent and its tools, tracing where each parameter of a side-effect call came from, and blocking the call or asking a human when the source does not check out.

  • A markdown framework of system rules that restates Isaac Asimov's Four Laws of Robotics as a set of prioritized loss calculations for large-language-model agents to follow, published as a discovery file for agents and crawlers to read.

  • Vitruvius

    github.com

An engineering research agent that runs a discover, read, synthesize, verify and review loop over technical questions, reading sources directly rather than inferring from titles, and publishing its own scored verifier benchmark, weaknesses included.
