Agentic Coding Starter Kit
A production-oriented Next.js starter with authentication, a database, AI SDK integration and shadcn/ui components, plus written agent instructions and skills so a coding agent can plan, implement, review and verify a new application.
This starter kit provides a working Next.js 16 application using the App Router and TypeScript, Better Auth with email and password sign-in, PostgreSQL with Drizzle ORM for schema and migrations, the AI SDK with OpenRouter for chat and AI features, shadcn/ui with Tailwind CSS and Lucide icons, and local or Vercel Blob file storage behind one storage abstraction.
It ships with AGENTS.md and CLAUDE.md instructions and agent skills for specs, implementation, reviews, security scans, UI work and shipping, so a coding agent can turn the boilerplate into a proof of concept, MVP or internal tool. A CLI scaffolds a new project and, with Claude Code, an installable skill walks through the entire setup: folder layout, package manager, database options, environment configuration, optional integrations and a verified local build.
