AI Engineer Roadmap — From Zero to Production

A free, hands-on curriculum that takes a Python developer from foundations through prompt engineering, LLM APIs, RAG, agents, fine-tuning and MLOps to production AI systems, with notebooks and real projects.

AI Engineer Roadmap — From Zero to Production

This repository is a self-paced roadmap for becoming an AI engineer. It is organized into ten sequential modules covering prerequisites, how large language models work, prompt engineering, calling LLM APIs from providers such as OpenAI and Anthropic, retrieval-augmented generation, building agents and tools, fine-tuning models, MLOps fundamentals with Docker and CI/CD, and deploying, evaluating and monitoring systems in production.

It includes over 20 notebooks and 15 real projects ranging from beginner to advanced, plus interview-preparation material, and estimates three to four months of study at ten to fifteen hours a week. Readers track their own progress by checking boxes as they complete each module.
