AI Prompts & Rules

AI Prompts & Rules is a curated, open-source collection of AI prompts, coding standards and rules meant to be dropped into project-scaffolding files for Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Zed, Windsurf and Cline so an AI assistant follows consistent project conventions.

AI Prompts & Rules

AI Prompts & Rules, published by Instructa, is an open-source collection of AI prompts, best practices and curated rules for developers, covering project scaffolding and coding standards. It documents how to load these prompts into the configuration files each supported tool reads: a rules directory for Cursor, a copilot-instructions file for GitHub Copilot, a settings directory for Zed, a rules file for Windsurf, and a custom-instructions field for Cline.

The goal is to help an AI coding assistant follow a project's own conventions and automation workflows consistently instead of improvising them each session, and the project accepts community contributions of additional prompts and rules.

    github.com

A deterministic authorization gateway that sits between an AI agent and its tools, tracing where each parameter of a side-effect call came from, and blocking the call or asking a human when the source does not check out.

  • A markdown framework of system rules that restates Isaac Asimov's Four Laws of Robotics as a set of prioritized loss calculations for large-language-model agents to follow, published as a discovery file for agents and crawlers to read.

  • Vitruvius

    github.com

An engineering research agent that runs a discover, read, synthesize, verify and review loop over technical questions, reading sources directly rather than inferring from titles, and publishing its own scored verifier benchmark, weaknesses included.
