# Aliyun Model Studio CLI

The official command-line interface for Alibaba Cloud's Model Studio (DashScope) AI platform, exposing chat with Qwen, image and video generation and editing, speech synthesis and recognition, and workflow orchestration as structured tool calls for AI agents.

Model Studio CLI is Alibaba Cloud's official command-line interface for its Model Studio (DashScope) AI platform, built for AI agent frameworks so that every command works as a structured tool call. It covers chatting with Qwen models, generating and editing images and videos, understanding images, documents, audio and long videos, synthesizing and recognizing speech, and calling managed agents, workflows and knowledge bases published on Model Studio, including web search and MCP tools.

It can register Bailian MCP servers directly into agent tools such as Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, Qoder and Gemini CLI with channel attribution preserved, and also supports validating and uploading training datasets, fine-tuning models, and deploying dedicated model endpoints, along with account login, usage and quota management, and connecting subscription plans to the CLI and common coding agents.

App orchestration, native MCP setup, training and deployment, account operations, and plan onboarding are currently limited to account holders on Alibaba Cloud's China site and are not yet available for international accounts.
