ast-grep Plugin Marketplace for AI Agents

A Claude Code plugin marketplace that packages a skill teaching an agent to use ast-grep's abstract-syntax-tree pattern matching for structural code search instead of plain text search.

ast-grep Plugin Marketplace for AI Agents

This repository is a Claude Code plugin marketplace that provides an ast-grep plugin: a skill that teaches an agent to write and run ast-grep rules for structural code search, such as finding async functions without error handling, React components using a specific hook, or functions with more than a set number of parameters. It requires ast-grep itself to be installed separately, through Homebrew, npm or cargo.

The plugin can be installed through the skills.sh installer, through Claude Code's marketplace commands, or from a local clone for development. Installing the skill makes it available but not automatically preferred over Claude Code's built-in text search, so the project recommends naming ast-grep explicitly in a query, or stating the preference once in a project's AGENTS.md or CLAUDE.md file.
