# AstrBot

An open-source agent chatbot platform that connects large language models to messaging apps such as QQ, WeChat Work, Feishu, DingTalk, Telegram and Slack, with plugins, a web UI and a code execution sandbox.

AstrBot is described as an all-in-one agent chatbot platform for individuals, developers and teams to build things such as a personal AI companion, customer service bot, automation assistant or enterprise knowledge base inside their instant-messaging workflow.

It supports multimodal LLM conversations, agents, MCP, skills, a knowledge base, persona settings and automatic context compression, and can integrate with agent platforms such as Dify, Alibaba Cloud Bailian and Coze. It connects to QQ, WeChat Work, Feishu, DingTalk, WeChat Official Accounts, Telegram, Slack and other platforms, supports more than 1,000 installable plugins, and runs an agent sandbox for isolated execution of code and shell commands. A web UI provides a chat interface with the built-in sandbox and web search.

It installs with a single `uv` command, through Docker or Docker Compose, as a desktop application, or through panel-based deployments such as BT-Panel, 1Panel or CasaOS. It is written in Python and licensed under AGPL-3.0.
