Awesome AI Handbook

A 52-file practical guide to AI covering running a first local model, retrieval-augmented generation, prompt engineering and building AI agents, organized from beginner to advanced.

Awesome AI Handbook

The handbook is split into a zero-level section on AI basics such as terms, setup and hardware choice, a local-models section on running, choosing, tuning and optimizing models, an AI-agents section on architecture, patterns and frameworks, a use-cases section covering coding, RAG, automation and writing, and a resources section of communities and courses in Russian and English.

A full file catalog lists every one of the 52 files with a short description so a reader can jump straight to a specific topic, and the material is estimated at about six hours of reading in total. It is intended as a self-paced reference for someone starting from zero as well as an index for a more experienced reader.
