# Awesome Autonomous Drone Racing

A curated list of competitions, simulators, frameworks, datasets and papers for building autonomous drone racing software, covering events such as the Anduril AI Grand Prix and A2RL.

This list tracks the competitions that drive autonomous drone racing research, from the ongoing, prize-funded Anduril AI Grand Prix and Abu Dhabi's A2RL vision-only racing league to historical events such as AlphaPilot and the NeurIPS Game of Drones, noting results such as the first race where an autonomous drone beat human champions. Alongside the competitions, it catalogs the software side of the field: GPU-parallel and differentiable simulators such as Aerial Gym, Crazyflow and Isaac Drone Racer, reinforcement-learning and computer-vision frameworks, state-estimation tools, and datasets used for training and evaluation.

Further sections cover research papers, tutorials and courses, drone hardware, and community resources, aimed at researchers and developers building or training a racing drone's autonomy stack rather than at spectators of the sport.
