Awesome Foundry Nextgen

A hands-on lab series of Jupyter notebooks and Bicep templates that walk through Microsoft Foundry, Azure's unified platform for provisioning, orchestrating and governing AI agents, models and tools.

Awesome Foundry Nextgen

Awesome Foundry Nextgen is a set of numbered labs for Microsoft Foundry NextGen, Azure's platform for enterprise AI model and agent operations. Each lab demonstrates one pattern in dependency order, starting with conceptual overviews of the Foundry portal, then provisioning the platform with Bicep across hub-and-spoke architectures, and moving on to capability labs covering agents, hosted Copilot SDK agents, MCP tools, knowledge bases, fine-tuning, guardrails, red-teaming and observability.

Labs authenticate with DefaultAzureCredential rather than admin keys and are run locally with the Azure CLI and the uv Python package manager after cloning the repository.

  • local-coder

    github.com

Builds a local coding-agent team on top of Ollama and OpenCode by detecting the machine's hardware, recommending models for seven specialist roles, and testing whether each assigned model can actually use tools, edit a repository and pass verification.
