# Awesome List of AI Agents

A curated list of open-source AI agent projects that ranks entries by how quickly their GitHub popularity is growing, tracked over daily, weekly and monthly windows across the agentic AI ecosystem.

Awesome List of AI Agents is a curated directory of agentic AI projects that each require a public repository on GitHub, GitLab or Codeberg to be listed; hosted products without a qualifying repository are not included. Beyond a static list, it ranks projects by how much their repository popularity grew over daily, seven-day and thirty-day windows, showing percentage growth relative to the count at the start of each window and excluding the ten most-followed projects overall so emerging tools are more visible.

Each ranked entry carries a short description of what the project does, covering areas such as LLM gateways, sandboxed agent execution environments, autonomous research agents and open-source chat assistants.

The project accepts community submissions through issues and pull requests, and treats all submitted content as untrusted input that must be independently verified before being added to the list.
