Awesome Neovim is a curated collection of plugins that mostly target Neovim-specific features, explicitly excluding plugins that are merely Vim-compatible. Entries are organized under headings including plugin managers, LSP and diagnostics, completion, AI, language and syntax support, fuzzy finding, file explorers, colorschemes, statuslines, debugging, testing, git and GitHub integration, dependency management, and remote development.

Each entry links to a plugin's repository with a short description of what it does; for example, the plugin manager section lists options such as a lightweight package manager, a modern plugin manager with a graphical interface and lockfile support, and a LuaRocks-based approach inspired by Cargo. The list also covers less common categories such as colorscheme creation tools, pre-made Neovim configurations, and version managers for installing Neovim itself.
