Bastardica
A browser tool that mixes, stretches, and squishes two fonts together glyph by glyph, exporting the result as a downloadable TTF, OTF, or WOFF2 web font.
Bastardica is a type foundry for deliberately mangled web fonts. A visitor picks a base font and a mix-in font, chooses how often glyphs swap between them, and previews the result live as they type a sample sentence; a font engine running in the browser, backed by a Python runtime, renders the combination.
Presets combine specific fonts and swap patterns, for example every seventh glyph of Times New Roman swapped for Arial, or several stacked copies of Arial jittering out of line, and a visitor can also upload their own fonts or add every Google Font to the pickers.
Finished fonts can be downloaded as TTF, or built as OTF or WOFF2, for use in a real project.
