# Birdview

Birdview is a skill for AI coding agents that shows the architecture and applicable rules around a change before the agent implements it, so a person can review the plan and its declared scope before code is written rather than only the resulting diff.

Birdview brings a project's architecture and constraints into one reviewable view for a coding task. Given a request, the agent displays the relevant modules, applicable interface and security rules, the files it plans to touch and the evidence behind that plan, waits for confirmation of that scope, then implements the change and records what checks it actually ran, instead of searching and editing immediately and leaving only a final diff to inspect.

Its output is a standalone, interactive HTML page that opens directly in a browser without deploying any service, showing a system map of the project's modules and how they connect, the project's reviewed constraints with their source evidence and tracked versions, and which sources were read and reviewed versus what remains uncertain. The project states that it does not observe every agent action automatically and does not replace git diffs, tests or code review; it adds one additional, inspectable checkpoint.

It is written in TypeScript and distributed as an agent skill.
