# Bottega

A specification plus reference implementation for orchestrating Claude Code, Codex and OpenCode together on one team's engineering workflow, looping between planning, implementation and review until a task's own checks pass.

Bottega is a multi-agent orchestration tool for engineering teams, built around what it calls an AI sandwich: a person opens and closes the loop, with AI doing the work in between. It ships as a specification plus a working reference implementation, runs as a team-first, remote-first web interface, and supports mixing Claude Code, Codex and OpenCode on the same task, for example one model for planning, another for implementation, and a third for code review.

It replicates an ordinary development workflow as a loop of specialized agents: plan, implement, run the quality-assurance scenarios that define the goal, repeat until that goal is met, and respond to pull request comments on GitHub. Because the specification is described as the actual product, the repository's core and extra folders define the universal orchestration engine and optional features such as a Kanban board and additional harness integrations, while a reference folder holds one opinionated, working implementation of it that a team can use as-is or rebuild to its own preferences.
