Caspian

An agent communication SDK, in Python and TypeScript, that connects an AI agent's reasoning to messaging channels such as email, Slack, Discord, Telegram, WhatsApp and X with one handler per channel.

Caspian

Caspian is an agent communication SDK: an agent's own reasoning decides what to say, while Caspian handles how it exists on channels such as Slack, Discord, Telegram, email, WhatsApp, X and Linear. Adding a channel is one channels.add() call, with declarative rules, threading, webhook verification and platform quirks handled for all of them.

It targets agent-to-human communication rather than agent-to-agent protocols such as A2A or ACP. A hosted mode lets Caspian's gateway own inbound messages while a process polls for events; a self-host mode keeps a caller's own tokens and webhooks without gateway polling. Discord and Slack can also receive over a held-open socket instead of a public webhook.

Version 1.0 is a full rewrite around a Caspian class, replacing the legacy CommClient from the 0.6.x line.

    github.com

Builds a local coding-agent team on top of Ollama and OpenCode by detecting the machine's hardware, recommending models for seven specialist roles, and testing whether each assigned model can actually use tools, edit a repository and pass verification.
