ChatDev

A multi-agent orchestration platform that lets a user define agents, workflows and tasks through configuration rather than code, evolved from an earlier system that simulated a whole virtual software company.

ChatDev

ChatDev 2.0, also called DevAll, is a zero-code multi-agent platform: a user configures agents, workflows and tasks to orchestrate scenarios such as data visualization, 3D generation or deep research, without writing code for the orchestration itself. The earlier ChatDev 1.0, kept as a legacy branch, works as a simulated virtual software company, in which agents playing roles such as CEO, CTO and programmer take part in structured seminars to carry out an entire software development lifecycle: designing, coding, testing and documenting.

Related research from the same project explores alternative multi-agent collaboration structures, including a learnable central orchestrator that dynamically activates and sequences agents, and a directed-acyclic-graph topology (MacNet) that lets more than a thousand agents cooperate on a task without exceeding context limits, extending the approach beyond software development to tasks such as logical reasoning and data analysis.

It is written in Python and licensed under Apache-2.0.

  • Recurse

    recurse.run

A serverless harness that lets a coding agent design, test, and deploy its own specialist sub-agents as tools, MCP servers, or bots, defined by a schema-validated manifest.

  • ProofForge

    shulgin.is-a.dev

An AI-agent pipeline that decomposes a mathematics problem, proves each piece, and formalizes the result in Lean 4 and Mathlib until the Lean kernel accepts it, with six of its proofs already merged into Google DeepMind's formal-conjectures repository.

  • local-coder

    github.com

Builds a local coding-agent team on top of Ollama and OpenCode by detecting the machine's hardware, recommending models for seven specialist roles, and testing whether each assigned model can actually use tools, edit a repository and pass verification.
