chaz

An experimental AI agent framework, built on the eidetica data layer, that runs a ReAct tool-calling loop and multi-agent orchestration behind a Matrix chat bot connected to any OpenAI-compatible language-model provider.

chaz

chaz implements a ReAct-style reasoning-and-acting loop with nine built-in tools, including reading and writing files, running shell commands with approval, web search and fetch, and storing or recalling facts in shared memory banks. Its extension framework routes tools, slash commands and lifecycle hooks through declared extensions with per-session settings and an event-log audit trail, and it supports multi-agent orchestration where peer agents with their own keys and identities can spawn one-shot worker templates with depth limiting and narrowed tool access.

The primary interface is a bot on the Matrix chat protocol, with a terminal interface also included for local testing without Matrix; sessions persist across restarts through eidetica's SQLite-backed storage and can be shared between chaz instances through eidetica sync. Security features include leak detection, network controls, shell sandboxing and tool-approval gates.

It is written in Rust, marked experimental, and released under the AGPL-3.0 license.

    recurse.run

A serverless harness that lets a coding agent design, test, and deploy its own specialist sub-agents as tools, MCP servers, or bots, defined by a schema-validated manifest.

  • ProofForge

    shulgin.is-a.dev

An AI-agent pipeline that decomposes a mathematics problem, proves each piece, and formalizes the result in Lean 4 and Mathlib until the Lean kernel accepts it, with six of its proofs already merged into Google DeepMind's formal-conjectures repository.

  • local-coder

    github.com

Builds a local coding-agent team on top of Ollama and OpenCode by detecting the machine's hardware, recommending models for seven specialist roles, and testing whether each assigned model can actually use tools, edit a repository and pass verification.
