Checkup

A distributed, lock-free, self-hosted health-check and status-page tool written in Go, usable as a CLI or as a Go library.

Checkup

Checkup lets you define health checks against your own sites and services and publish the results as a status page, using whichever storage backend you configure. It ships as both a minimalistic command-line tool and an idiomatic Go library, sharing the same JSON-based configuration.

It supports HTTP, TCP with TLS, DNS, and TLS checks, and can store results in Amazon S3, the local filesystem, GitHub, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite3, or Azure Application Insights, though the built-in status page does not yet read from the SQL or Azure backends. It can also send notifications through an integrated notification service when checks fail.

Checkup was created by Matt Holt, the author of the Caddy web server, and is maintained and sponsored by Sourcegraph. The project describes itself as a work in progress.
