Claude Architect Foundations

Reference architectures, code examples and practice scenarios for a four-hour O'Reilly live training that prepares learners for Anthropic's Claude Certified Architect: Foundations exam.

Claude Architect Foundations

Three skills-first segments teach building AI agents that use tools, tool design and integration through MCP alongside Claude Code workflows, and structured output with context management for production reliability, each ending in a hands-on deliverable such as a policy-enforced customer support agent or an invoice extractor with retry logic and a triage scorecard.

A self-study segment covers tool-choice modes, stop sequences and other generation controls, MCP's tool-listing capability, and Claude Console assets such as memory stores and vaults, while a fourth, graded segment is a certification capstone with an exam briefing and ten weighted practice questions. The five reference files in the repository map to the published five-domain blueprint for Anthropic's Claude Certified Architect: Foundations exam, which is currently restricted to Anthropic partners. It is licensed MIT.
