Claude Code Training Course
A full training presentation and hands-on lab set for using Claude Code in professional software development, covering project creation, the branch-first workflow, subagents, hooks, skills and plugins.
This repository holds the materials for a Claude Code training course: a Slidev presentation (slides.md) with interactive demos, progressive hands-on labs (lab_handout.md), an instructor guide with demos on real codebases, condensed half-day and 90-minute webinar variants, a course glossary, and ready-to-copy example skills, commands, hooks and a plugin.
The course teaches creating complete projects from scratch with Claude Code, navigating and understanding existing codebases, the "branch-first" workflow for safe experimentation, generating tests and documentation, refactoring legacy code, using Plan Mode and /code-review, subagents for multi-step tasks, and building automation with hooks and event-driven workflows. Exercise projects span Python (Flask), JavaScript/TypeScript, and Java (Spring Boot and a legacy Grails app), and the presentation runs locally via pnpm.
