Claude HUD

A Claude Code plugin that adds a status line showing context window usage, active tools, running subagents and todo progress.

Claude HUD

Claude HUD is a Claude Code plugin that shows what is happening in a session: context usage, active tools, running agents and todo progress, always visible below the input line.

It reports the current project path, with a configurable number of directory levels, how full the context window is before it becomes a problem, which tools Claude is reading, editing or searching with as it happens, which subagents are running and what they are doing, and real-time todo completion.

It installs as a Claude Code plugin through the marketplace-add and plugin-install commands, then is configured with a setup command that writes the status line. It is written in JavaScript and TypeScript, and licensed under the MIT license.

An engineering research agent that runs a discover, read, synthesize, verify and review loop over technical questions, reading sources directly rather than inferring from titles, and publishing its own scored verifier benchmark, weaknesses included.
