# Clumsies

Shared, reviewable memory infrastructure for coding agents: an organization publishes Markdown guidance that projects subscribe to, agents retrieve it while working, and any agent-proposed changes need human review before publishing.

Clumsies helps a team maintain shared Markdown guidance, such as architecture decisions, project constraints, and procedures, for coding agents to use. An organization publishes Memory; each Project selects which Memory it uses and connects it to local repositories, and an agent working in a connected repository retrieves the relevant Memory as part of its task and can propose changes when a user asks it to.

Retrieval never automatically rewrites Memory: a proposed change becomes a Draft, which only affects that project's local Memory view until an organization owner or administrator reviews and publishes it. A macOS dashboard app shows memory growth, retrieval activity, and coverage, and connects to a configurable server address, defaulting to a hosted one but supporting self-hosted deployments.

It currently integrates with Codex, and the macOS installer requires no build tools, though it is not notarized by Apple.
