Cobra

A lightweight, on-device voice-activity-detection engine that flags when someone is speaking in an audio stream, with SDKs and demo applications for Python, .NET, C, Android, iOS, web and Node.js.

Cobra

Cobra is a voice-activity-detection engine built by Picovoice for detecting speech in real time without sending audio to a server. Demo applications are provided for each supported platform: a Python demo processes microphone input and prints detections to the terminal, a .NET demo and a C demo do the same for their platforms, an Android demo changes the interface based on detected speech, an iOS demo changes the screen color while the user talks, and web and Node.js demos cover browser and server-side JavaScript use.

Each SDK and demo requires an access key obtained from the Picovoice Console, and platform-specific demo packages are installed through the platform's own package manager, such as pip for Python or CocoaPods for iOS, or built from source with the platform's standard build tools such as CMake or Xcode.
