# Codex Integration for Claude Code

A Claude Code skill that lets Claude delegate a task to the Codex CLI for automated code analysis, refactoring or editing, then summarize what Codex found.

This is a Claude Code plugin and skill that enables Claude Code to invoke the Codex CLI, using `codex exec` and session resumes, for automated code analysis, refactoring and editing workflows. When invoked, it asks which Codex model and reasoning-effort level to use unless already specified, selects a sandbox mode that defaults to read-only for analysis, runs the corresponding `codex exec` command, and then summarizes the Codex output for the user.

It installs as a Claude Code plugin through the plugin marketplace, or by copying its skill folder into `~/.claude/skills/` for a standalone install, and requires the `codex` CLI to already be installed, configured and authenticated on the machine.
