ComfyUI-PromptChain

ComfyUI-PromptChain is a prompt-authoring toolkit for ComfyUI that turns the plain prompt box into a structured, code-editor-like workflow with chaining, wildcards and a visual tag-based composer, carrying that structure through posing, generation, viewing and upscaling.

ComfyUI-PromptChain

A Prompt Chain node adds a real code editor with syntax highlighting and multi-line editing directly on the node, and several such nodes can be linked with different merge modes: combining all of them, randomizing one, switching to a chosen branch, or iterating through options across queued runs. Inline wildcard syntax can randomize or cycle between listed options or pull from an external file, and dragging a generated image onto the editor merges its original prompt back in.

A separate Tag Builder assembles a prompt visually from curated, model-aware tag sets organized as per-subject cards covering appearance, clothing, pose, expression and props, with autocomplete and a searchable character library, so a multi-character prompt can be built without typing every tag by hand.

It is an early public beta, written in Python, and released under the AGPL-3.0 license.
