Company Research Agent

Company Research Agent turns a company name into a structured business briefing covering its business, industry, financial context and recent news. A FastAPI backend coordinates a graph of research and synthesis steps: it uses Tavily search and relevance scoring to find and curate source material, synthesizes category briefings with a Gemini model, and produces the final report with an OpenAI model for editing.

A React interface tracks the running job, streams incremental progress from the backend as each research and synthesis step completes, and can export the finished report as a PDF. Jobs and reports can optionally persist in MongoDB, and location autocomplete is available with a Google Maps API key.

It requires Python 3.11 and Node.js 18 or later, plus API keys for Gemini, OpenAI and Tavily, and is released under the Apache-2.0 license.
