The repository's own README notes that `continuedev/continue` is no longer actively maintained and is now read-only for all users, following a final 2.0.0 release across the CLI, VS Code extension and JetBrains plugin that removed anonymous telemetry, pulled out authentication, and fixed outstanding bugs. The maintainers recommend using the CLI over the JetBrains plugin going forward.
