# CoordiNode

A single transactional engine that combines a graph database, a vector database and full-text search behind one OpenCypher-compatible query language, so graph traversal, vector similarity and text relevance run as one planned query.

CoordiNode is a graph-native hybrid retrieval engine written in Rust that runs a graph database, a vector database and a full-text search engine as one transactional engine with one query language. It is a single binary with no JVM or separate router, and the same executable runs standalone or as a Raft-replicated cluster, with clustering included in the open-source edition.

A query can mix graph traversal, vector similarity and BM25 text relevance in one pipeline, planned and executed together, and multi-version concurrency control gives a single snapshot across edges, embeddings and the text index so a read never sees a half-applied write. The project targets uses such as retrieval for AI knowledge graphs, fraud and threat-intelligence graphs correlated with behavioural embeddings, and recommendation systems, in place of running a separate graph store, vector store and search cluster and joining their results in application code.
