# Copilot Unleashed

A self-hosted, mobile-first multi-model AI chat built on the official GitHub Copilot SDK, letting a user switch between Copilot's models such as Claude and GPT mid-conversation and run autonomous coding agents from any device.

This project is a self-hosted chat application built on the official GitHub Copilot SDK, independent of and not affiliated with GitHub. It gives one login access to every model available through Copilot, including Claude Opus, GPT and Gemini variants, with the ability to switch models mid-conversation while keeping the full history.

Its autopilot agents can plan, write code, run tests and open pull requests with live tool execution and no further intervention, and sessions can optionally be published as visible on github.com or on Copilot's mobile app, or run entirely on GitHub's cloud agent infrastructure against a chosen repository and branch. Other features include live reasoning traces, voice input and read-aloud output, native GitHub tools for issues, pull requests, code search and Actions delivered through the GitHub MCP server, image and file attachments, and slash commands for actions such as running shell commands from chat.

It also supports the Copilot SDK's own customizations, such as agents, skills, prompts, instructions and MCP servers, and lets a user bring their own API keys for additional model providers, encrypted at rest.
