CoreML-YOLOv5

An example iOS Xcode project showing how to run the YOLOv5 object-detection model, converted to Core ML, on a photo picked from the device's photo library.

CoreML-YOLOv5

CoreML-YOLOv5 is a sample project demonstrating how to use the YOLOv5 object-detection model in an iOS app through Core ML. After cloning the project, replacing the Xcode team identifier and running it, the app lets the user pick a photo from their library and runs the model on it.

The project only covers still-image detection; running the model against a live camera preview instead is pointed to a companion project, MLModelCamera, which provides a YOLOv5s Core ML model set up for that purpose. It is maintained by a freelance iOS developer as a reference for integrating a Core ML object-detection model into an app.
