# CorvinOS

A self-hosted platform that connects coding-agent harnesses such as Claude Code, Codex or its own Hermes Agent to messaging channels including Discord, Telegram, WhatsApp, Slack and Email, installed and run through a local browser console with offline speech models.

CorvinOS bills itself as an operating system for AI workflows that learns from use, optimizes cost, and records proof of what it did. It is a self-hosted platform that connects an agent harness, such as Claude Code, Codex or its own Hermes Agent, to messaging channels such as Discord, Telegram, WhatsApp, Slack and Email, and is built with EU AI Act 2026 and GDPR compliance considerations in its architecture.

A single install script bootstraps a self-contained Python environment with no system Python required, installs offline speech-to-text and text-to-speech models, auto-detects and installs Claude Code if it is missing, and starts a local browser console at 127.0.0.1:8765. The installer verifies the console actually came up, an HTTP 200 response and a working local login, before declaring success rather than assuming it; an update script reinstalls, rebuilds and restarts, similarly verifying the result.

Built with Python, distributed as an installable package, also published to PyPI, and as a source checkout. Apache-2.0 licensed.
