# Crowdin Docs

The source for Crowdin's Knowledge Base and Developer Portal, an Astro and Starlight site documenting Crowdin's localization platform and its API for developers integrating translation management into their software.

This repository holds the website code and Markdown articles for Crowdin Docs, which covers both the Crowdin Knowledge Base and the Crowdin Developer Portal for the localization management platform's API. The site is built with Astro and the Starlight documentation theme, with content organized under src/content/docs, sidebars configured separately for the Knowledge Base, Crowdin Enterprise and the Developer Portal, and reusable content blocks kept in src/content/includes.

Running it locally needs Node.js 22 or newer and pnpm, installed and pinned through Corepack; pnpm dev starts a local server, pnpm build produces a production build in dist, and pnpm preview serves that build locally before deploying. Translations of the documentation itself are managed through Crowdin and are not committed to the repository. Commit messages and pull request titles follow the Conventional Commits specification.
