Crucible

Crucible is a code generation engine, not a component library: running its CLI writes real component source files, such as a Button's TSX, stylesheet and README, directly into a project, rather than adding a compiled package to node_modules. Once generated, the code has zero runtime dependency on Crucible, so it can be freely edited, and updates come from regenerating or manually merging rather than an npm update.

It supports React, Vue 3.5 and newer, Angular, and a beta React Native target, each with a matching style system such as CSS or SCSS Modules, Tailwind v4, NativeWind or StyleSheet, built-in minimal and soft theme presets with deep merge, OKLCH-based automatic dark mode, WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility patterns with ARIA and focus rings, and framework-appropriate compound-component patterns. Local plugins let a team add their own components without modifying the engine, and hash-based protection tracks which generated files a user has since edited.

It installs from npm and is invoked through its CLI, for example npx crucible add Button.
