# CSharp Console

An interactive C# REPL for the Unity Editor and Runtime, powered by Roslyn, with semantic code completion, cross-submission state, private member access and remote execution on an IL2CPP player build via HybridCLR.

CSharp Console lets a Unity developer execute C# statements directly against a running project's live state, without a compile wait, using top-level scripting with no class or Main boilerplate required. Submissions share persistent session state, so variables, using directives and types survive across executions, and Roslyn provides real-time semantic completion for members, namespaces and types as you type.

An extensible command framework lets code register CommandAction commands with automatic JSON-to-parameter binding and a batch endpoint for multi-command workflows, and code can be submitted while the Editor is paused in Play Mode to inspect the exact frame's transient state without losing it. On a connected player build using HybridCLR, the console can compile in the Editor and execute remotely on the running IL2CPP build.

It installs as a Unity Package Manager package by referencing its Git URL or as a local package in a project's manifest.json.
