Cua
An open-source toolkit that gives AI agents computers to operate: desktop automation drivers, isolated cloud desktops, local macOS VMs, specialized decision models and benchmarks for computer-use agents.
Cua gives AI agents computers they can use. It provides open-source desktop automation, isolated cloud desktops, local macOS virtual machines, specialized decision models, and benchmarks for training, evaluating and generating data for computer-use agents.
Cua Driver gives an agent tools to inspect and operate native desktop apps and browsers on macOS, Windows and Linux, connected through a CLI, MCP, or typed SDKs, with background delivery that can act without moving the pointer or taking window focus where the platform allows it. Cua Fleets provisions isolated cloud desktops that code can claim from a pool and control with a Sandbox SDK to run commands, capture screenshots and interact with apps; the same Sandbox SDK also works with local sandboxes on a user's own hardware, such as macOS VMs created with Lume. CUA-S1 is a small, specialized model for computer-use decisions, and Cua Bench creates and verifies simulated tasks for benchmarking.
It supports macOS, Windows and Linux, and is written largely in Swift for its macOS virtualization framework, Lume, under the MIT license.
