CUGA: Configurable Generalist Agent

An open-source generalist agent harness for enterprise use, combining OpenAPI and MCP tool integration, configurable reasoning modes, and policy-based guardrails for task execution on the web and APIs.

CUGA: Configurable Generalist Agent

CUGA is a generalist agent harness meant to be configured for a specific enterprise domain rather than built from scratch. It wires up MCP servers, OpenAPI and LangChain tools, and supports fast, balanced and accurate code-generation profiles, hybrid tasks that combine API calls with Playwright-driven browser actions, and a CugaSupervisor mode that coordinates multiple agents, including external agents reached over A2A.

Policy features include an Intent Guard, a Playbook, Tool Approval and a Tool Guide for human-in-the-loop control, and settings can cap the number of tool calls per block, run or thread. An optional events service adds channel-based triggers, such as Slack, Discord, Telegram and webhooks, and scheduled or push-triggered flows that a human confirms before they run, as a separate service alongside CUGA. A web-based manager lets an operator draft and publish tools, MCP connections, models and policies for production chat.

    shulgin.is-a.dev

An AI-agent pipeline that decomposes a mathematics problem, proves each piece, and formalizes the result in Lean 4 and Mathlib until the Lean kernel accepts it, with six of its proofs already merged into Google DeepMind's formal-conjectures repository.

  • local-coder

    github.com

Builds a local coding-agent team on top of Ollama and OpenCode by detecting the machine's hardware, recommending models for seven specialist roles, and testing whether each assigned model can actually use tools, edit a repository and pass verification.
