Deno Development Skills

A set of skills that teach AI coding assistants current Deno development practices, from using Deno as a runtime and package manager to migrating a Node project and deploying to Deno Deploy.

Deno Development Skills

This repository packages five skills for AI coding assistants: a core deno skill covering dependency management, permissions, deno.json and the built-in toolchain; migrate-to-deno for moving a Node, npm, Yarn, pnpm or Bun project over; deno-deploy for deployment workflows; deno-frontend for the Fresh framework with Preact and Tailwind CSS; and deno-sandbox for safe code execution. They target Deno 2.9 and newer, and three older, overlapping skills have been merged into the single deno skill.

The skills teach that Deno installs from package.json and npm much like Node or Bun, that both npm and JSR work with JSR a good default for new Deno-first code, that built-in fmt, lint, test and check commands replace separate tools such as Prettier, ESLint, Jest and tsc, and that scoped permission grants such as allow-net for one host are preferred over a blanket allow-all flag.

    github.com

A deterministic authorization gateway that sits between an AI agent and its tools, tracing where each parameter of a side-effect call came from, and blocking the call or asking a human when the source does not check out.

  • A markdown framework of system rules that restates Isaac Asimov's Four Laws of Robotics as a set of prioritized loss calculations for large-language-model agents to follow, published as a discovery file for agents and crawlers to read.

  • Vitruvius

    github.com

An engineering research agent that runs a discover, read, synthesize, verify and review loop over technical questions, reading sources directly rather than inferring from titles, and publishing its own scored verifier benchmark, weaknesses included.
