DESIGN:OS

A design CLI driven from Claude Code, Codex or Antigravity: describe a UI in plain language and get web, Figma or SwiftUI output checked by deterministic quality gates.

DESIGN:OS

DESIGN:OS is a multi-runtime design CLI invoked through slash commands in an agent CLI such as Claude Code, Codex or Antigravity. A description of an interface is routed to the right execution path — production HTML for web marketing pages, idiomatic Figma authoring, or SwiftUI for macOS, iOS or iPadOS — while a deterministic ui kernel handles routing, validates delivery contracts and enforces fail-closed claim boundaries.

The host coding agent writes the actual implementation code; the kernel does not call a model or generate Swift itself. Deterministic linters run on every delivery, and a blocking rule violation cannot receive a passing verdict, which the project contrasts with a prose design guideline file that has no way to refuse bad output.

It installs from npm, requires Node 20 or later, and is released under the MIT license.

A set of Unix coreutils-style filters — grep, sort, cut and more — that answer a plain-language question about each record instead of matching a pattern, using a small decision model.

  • A Node.js script that exports a Google Doc to HTML and CSS with high fidelity, preserving headings, spacing, alignment, bullet lists, images and right-to-left text.

A VRAM-aware GPU job scheduler for a single machine: declare how much memory each shell command needs, and it places jobs the moment a GPU has room and reports when a guess was wrong.
