docker-volume-backup

A lightweight companion Docker container that backs up Docker volumes on a schedule or on demand to local storage or to S3, WebDAV, Azure Blob, Dropbox, Google Drive, or SSH destinations.

docker-volume-backup

docker-volume-backup is a small companion container, under 25 MB, that runs alongside an existing Docker setup to back up the volumes it is given. It performs recurring or one-off backups to a local directory or to any combination of S3, WebDAV, Azure Blob Storage, Dropbox, Google Drive, or SSH-compatible storage, and rotates away old backups according to configured retention.

Backups can be encrypted with GPG, and the tool can send notifications when a backup run fails. It is configured through a compose service definition or run directly with Docker, either for recurring scheduled backups or one-time runs from the command line.

    droprun.sh

A rootless Linux sandbox for developers, built on user namespaces with optional gVisor isolation, that confines coding agents and third-party packages without leaving your normal work environment.

  • minienv

    github.com

Reads an existing docker compose file and deploys it as a remote preview environment with little setup, with optional public endpoints and authentication so others can review in-flight work.

  • Rig

    npmjs.com

Gives each coding agent, such as Claude Code, Cursor or Codex, its own cloud Linux desktop with a running dev server, tests and a signed-in Chrome, so the developer's laptop stays free while several agents work at once.
