Douyin_TikTok_Download_API
A self-hosted REST API, MCP server, and web console for fetching Douyin and TikTok posts, profiles, comments, and search results, and downloading their video and image content.
Douyin_TikTok_Download_API is a self-hosted data service for Douyin and TikTok. It fetches posts, author profiles, comments, and search results, and downloads video and image albums by selecting the same unwatermarked stream the platform already publishes, rather than stripping a watermark from the file. Collected data is kept in the operator's own PostgreSQL database.
It exposes its functionality as an asynchronous REST API, an MCP server for AI clients, a CLI, and a web console, and it maintains its own pool of identities so that it keeps working without manual reconfiguration. It is deployed with a single Docker Compose command.
It is written in Python and released under the Apache-2.0 license.
