DreamFactory Core is the core code of the DreamFactory platform, a secure, self-hosted enterprise data-access platform that provides governed API access to any data source, connecting enterprise applications and on-premises LLMs with role-based access control and identity passthrough. This repository holds only the core package; the full DreamFactory platform lives in a separate main repository.
It is installed as a Composer dependency into an existing Laravel project by requiring the package, registering its Laravel service provider, publishing a df.php configuration file and a test REST HTML page, and running the included database migration once a database connection is configured.
It is licensed under Apache 2.0, and contributions are expected to follow a git-flow feature-branch workflow and PSR-2 formatting.
